Eastside Animal Hospital is proud to serve Pleasant Ridge and the surrounding area for everything pet related. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round. Eastside Animal Hospital pursues the latest advances in veterinary technology and medicine and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

 

Eastside Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pets in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have decades of experience treating serious conditions and offering routine pet wellness care. Beyond first-rate pet care, our hospital is comfortable and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our highly trained and pleasant staff.

Dr. Orin Ashley

Dr. Ashley graduated with his BSC in Animal Science and D.V.M. from Tuskegee University in Alabama. He has practiced in the Cincinnati area since 1985. He has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and experience treating exotics. Dr. Ashley currently has 4 cats and is affectionately called the “cat whisperer”.

Dr. Ellen Dryer

​Dr. Dryer earned a BS in zoology from Miami University and received her DVM from Ohio State University. Dr. Dryer currently has 2 dogs, chickens and a horse.  She is an accomplished violinist and in her spare time she enjoys horseback riding.

Robin Aoki
Practice Manager, RVT

Robin is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has her Bachelor’s in Technical and Applied Studies through the University of Cincinnati.  She is our practice manager at Eastside Animal Hospital but also fills the role of RVT.  She loves all her veterinary patients but takes a special interest in the exotic variety.  When Robin is not at work, you will find her spending time with her son and working with their extensive list of animals of the hoofed, furry, feathery and scaly variety.

Breezy
Veterinary Assistant

Breana aka “Breezy” is a Veterinary Assistant. In her free time, she likes to go horseback riding with family and friends. What she considers to be her kids would include her dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat. She plans to attend college in the near future to further her career and become a registered vet technician. She has always wanted to work in a vet office and help animals. And we must say she is doing a great job of it.

Ashley
Veterinary Assistant

Ashley is a 2019 Miami University graduate with a degree in Biology. She’s a Cincinnati native and has been in the veterinary field for 7 years. She has two dogs: Magic and Diesel and a crazy orange cat named Larry Bird. Ashley enjoys getting to know both clients and their fur babies and making sure they feel comfortable every step of the way. She has always had a love for animals, having shadowed at the Cincinnati Zoo with Dr. Gregory Levens and wants to expand her knowledge to large animal/wildlife care in the near future. We’re thrilled to have her as a part of the Eastside Animal Hospital team!

Tyna

Veterinary Assistant

Tyna is a 2019  Northern Kentucky University graduate. Currently a veterinary assistant studying to become a Registered Vet technician through Penn Foster. She is originally from Los Angeles, California. She has been in the veterinary industry for around 5 years. She owns two dogs: an American Bulldog and a Pitbull/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. In her spare time, she loves to travel, go to the gym, go to concerts, and socialize with family and friends. She loves being part of the Eastside Animal Hospital team!

Terraya “TT” was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and brings passion, dedication, and a naturally patient spirit to every animal she cares for. With eight years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant, she’s excited to share her knowledge and training with clients in a way that feels supportive, clear, and empowering.

TT loves watching clients “shine bright” the moment they understand what’s going on with their furry loved ones. Her compassion extends to all kinds of animals—amphibians, felines, canines, and more. When she’s not caring for pets, you can find her sledding with her Siberian Huskies or enjoying agriculture and outdoor life.

Known for her smooth, kind, and nurturing voice, TT brings a sincere passion for the veterinary field to every interaction. Her goal is simple: to help pets thrive and help their humans feel confident every step of the way.
