Eastside Animal Hospital is proud to serve Pleasant Ridge and the surrounding area for everything pet related. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round. Eastside Animal Hospital pursues the latest advances in veterinary technology and medicine and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

 

Eastside Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pets in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have decades of experience treating serious conditions and offering routine pet wellness care. Beyond first-rate pet care, our hospital is comfortable and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our highly trained and pleasant staff.

Dr. Orin Ashley

Dr. Ashley graduated with his BSC in Animal Science and D.V.M. from Tuskegee University in Alabama. He has practiced in the Cincinnati area since 1985. He has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and experience treating exotics. Dr. Ashley currently has 4 cats and is affectionately called the “cat whisperer”.

Dr. Ellen Dryer

​Dr. Dryer earned a BS in zoology from Miami University and received her DVM from Ohio State University. Dr. Dryer currently has 2 dogs, chickens and a horse.  She is an accomplished violinist and in her spare time she enjoys horseback riding.

Dr. Brittany
Carter

Dr. Carter is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University.   Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Carter is passionate about community involvement and  enjoys soft tissue surgery.  In her spare time, Dr. Carter loves to spend time with her friends, family and her dogs. She also loves cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors!

Robin Aoki
Practice Manager, RVT

Robin is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has her Bachelor’s in Technical and Applied Studies through the University of Cincinnati.  She is our practice manager at Eastside Animal Hospital but also fills the role of RVT.  She loves all her veterinary patients but takes a special interest in the exotic variety.  When Robin is not at work, you will find her spending time with her son and working with their extensive list of animals of the hoofed, furry, feathery and scaly variety.

Breezy
Veterinary Assistant

Breana aka “Breezy” is a Veterinary Assistant. In her free time, she likes to go horseback riding with family and friends. What she considers to be her kids would include her dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat. She plans to attend college in the near future to further her career and become a registered vet technician. She has always wanted to work in a vet office and help animals. And we must say she is doing a great job of it.

Kyleigh
Receptionist

Kyleigh is a Veterinary Receptionist and she has a big love and compassion for animals and helping others. In her free time you will either find her at the barn with horses or roller skating! She has 2 dogs and they are very, very spoiled. Kyleigh says she has always wanted to work in a vet's office ever since she was a little girl. She now says her dream has come true, and she is eager to learn new things everyday!

Samantha
Veterinary Assistant

Sam is a Veterinary Assistant and receptionist who graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s in Biology of Animals and Geology with a focus in Paleontology. Currently she is volunteering with the Cincinnati Zoo CREW’s Cat Colony. She currently has a Siberian Husky and two cats. Samantha enjoys talking about sea turtles and dinosaurs. Sam also likes to spend her free time repairing older cars and playing video games.
