Eastside Animal Hospital is proud to serve Pleasant Ridge and the surrounding area for everything pet related. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round. Eastside Animal Hospital pursues the latest advances in veterinary technology and medicine and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

 

Eastside Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have decades of experience treating serious conditions and offering routine pet wellness care. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our hospital comfortable and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our highly trained and pleasant staff.

OUR DOCTORS AND STAFF

Dr. Orin Ashley

Dr. Ashley graduated with his BSC in Animal Science and D.V.M. from Tuskegee University in Alabama. He has practiced in the Cincinnati area since 1985. He has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and experience treating exotics. Dr. Ashley currently has 4 cats and is affectionately called the “cat whisperer”.

Dr. Ellen Dryer

Dr. Dryer earned a BS in zoology from Miami University and received her DVM from Ohio State University. Dr. Dryer currently has 3 dogs and a horse.  She is an accomplished violinist and in her spare time she enjoys horseback riding.

Robin Aoki, RVT
Practice Manager

Robin is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has her Bachelor’s in Technical and Applied Studies through the University of Cincinnati.  She is our practice manager at Eastside Animal Hospital but also fills the role of RVT.  She loves all her veterinary patients but takes a special interest in the exotic variety.  When Robin is not at work, you will find her spending time with her son and working with their extensive list of animals of the hoofed, furry, feathery and scaly variety.

Cassie Gray
Reception Manager

 

Cassie is our Reception Manager and you will be welcomed by her at our front desk.  She is a mother of twin girls and one boy.  When she’s not welcoming our patients she enjoys spending time with her children and her 2 dogs and cat.  She really enjoys developing relationships with our clients and their pets.

Breezy
Veterinary Assistant

Breana aka “Breezy” is a Veterinary Assistant with plans to attend college to become a registered veterinary technician. In her free time, she likes to go horseback riding with family and friends. What she considers to be her kids would include her 2 dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat. She plans to attend college in the near future to further her career and become a registered vet technician. She has always wanted to work in a vet office and help animals, now her dream has come true.

Samantha
Veterinary Technician

Samantha is a Veterinary Technician with her Associates in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology.  She loves that she has a job that she's very passionate about.  When not at work she spends time with her four children, her cat and two ferrets.

Veterinary Technician​

Ashley is a Veterinary Technician for 10-plus years.  She loves that she has a job that she's very passionate about. Patient care and client education are very important to her. When not at work she spends time with her two children, her two dogs and two cats.

Taylor
Pre-Veterinary Student

Taylor is a Fourth Year Student at University of Cincinnati.  She is majoring in Biology of Animals and is also president of UC's Pre-Veterinary Society.  In her free time she enjoys visiting parks in the Cincy area, going to concerts and watching scary movies. Her goals are to further her career by attending graduate school and obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  We know Taylor is a smart young girl with tons of potential in the future.
